VACCINES

Vaccines can be scary – for both the child and the parent.  Dr. Lake understands this.  We have topical numbing cream, a Buzzy Bee and other distraction methods available to help the children be more comfortable.  

There is a lot of scary talk on the social media about vaccines.   Dr. Lake recommends (and vaccinates her own children) following the CDC schedule. However, parental choice is always respected.   Dr. Lake will take the time to talk to parents openly about the vaccines and work with parents to vaccinate in the way that the they are comfortable.

Vaccines are billed to insurance via a vaccines company called Vaxcare.  Vaxcare accepts most insurances  In the rare instance where a family’s insurance is not accept by Vaxcare we will help find a place for getting the vaccines.
