We know what it's like to be new parents - it can be stressful! Let us help! Our "4th Trimester Package" is a membership for the first 3 months of your baby's life. If you choose to join our practice, the fee you've paid will be put towards your child's yearly membership!
WHAT IS THE
"4TH TRIMESTER"?
The fourth trimester refers to the very special but intense time between birth and the baby’s 3rd month birthday.
Dr Harvey Karp, author of “Happiest Baby on the Block” first acknowledged that babies central nervous systems are not fully developed at birth. It takes an additional 3 months until they are mature enough to interact with the world around them. Their only way of expressing themselves is by crying.
For new moms and dads this time can be very challenging and overwhelming, complicated by sleep deprivation and post partum maternal hormonal fluctuations.
These three months are the time when new parents need the most support.
The 4th Trimester package is designed to help with this transitional period when new parents need the most support.
OUR PACKAGE INCLUDES:

Frequent one hour long visits scheduled at:

a few days of life

2 weeks of age
-
1 month, 2 months, and 3 months of age.

Unlimited video visits or phone calls and Dr Lake’s cell phone number for 24/7 texting access for the many questions that come up during this time.

Vaccines administered in the office at the appropriate intervals (Vaccines are billed to insurance via a vaccine company called Vaxcare. Vaxcare accepts most insurances. In the rare instance where a family’s insurance is not accept by Vaxcare, we will help find a place for getting the vaccines.)

Care will be coordinated with a lactation consultant (fee for lactation consultant not included)

At our office, we only see one patient at a time, so there is no waiting room and no waiting! However, if you feel more comfortable, home visits for the first 2 visits can be arranged for an additional fee of $150 per visit.
After the 3 month visit, you may choose to continue with Dr. Lake and join our practice and the fee you've paid will be put towards your child's yearly membership.
Or, Dr. Lake will coordinate ongoing care with the pediatrician of choice.
